Momma, Mema and Ashley Oh My!!!!!!

First of all I know it's been a while since I wrote but I have been real busy!!!!! Just to let everyone know things are going good up here. I am happy but I miss my family a lot!!!! Ok now I will get to the story!
Momma Mema and Ashley came up to see me and we had a great time. We just got in the car and rode till we seen somewhere we wanted to go. We went to the South Holston Dam it's so pretty up there, we went to the mall and shopped a little bit. Ashley looked for all the boutique's and we found a few. We also went to Elizabethton looking for scrap book store's for mema. ( We laugh cause she called it Elizabeth Town) Well come to think about it we laughed the whole time. Every time we went some where we would use the GPS cause I still don't know that much about the roads up here I can get you to Wal-mart and Food City, But there are no interstates up here so everywhere you go you have to go through neighborhoods and back roads. We have so much fun just riding around cause they thought it was so weird that everywhere you go you have to ride though a neighborhood. I have a few pictures I want to share with you and I hope you enjoy them. I will be coming home in may for a wedding and I can't wait to see everyone we miss you all very much and we love you!!!!!!

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas this year!! Jerry and I had a wonderful 1st Christmas together. Santa got me everything I wanted. Christmas day is always a very busy day for us, we have all our fun in one day. We spend the whole day with family and friends, all we do is eat, give out gifts, and talk about all the goings on in the world. I think I am very lucky to have a family like mine. I hear so many story's about how people get together on Christmas with family and all they do is fuss and fight with each other, I can gladly say my family is not one of those. I am just thankful to have a family like I do!!!! I have a very big family and I have always said the more the marrier. I couldn't ask for any better then what I got!!!! Jerry is not used to big family's but I think he getting the hang of it, he fits right in. The first year he came with me for Christmas he was so nervous and now he just goes with the flow. My mema always picks on him cause he pulls for Tennessee Volunteer's and we all pull for the gamecocks, it's so funny cause they go back and forth with each other all the time. (thats why I named my blog the volunteer gamecock) To wrap this up I had a great Christmas and I just want to say thanks to everyone for everything and I hope you have a great New Year!!!

Merry Christmas

We just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!!! This is a special Christmas for Me and Jerry... It is our first of many Christmas's together.I think it will be neat to wake up on Christmas Morning and Jerry and I open our gifts from each other and I can't forget about the dogs yes they have present's too!!! After we get done with our Christmas we will get ready and go to Mama & daddy's, We will open gifts there and then we go to mema & papa's. This is where we eat the best Christmas lunch ever, then open gifts. I just hope that big fat man in red knows I have been good this year and leaves me all kinds of goodies.....

while I was cooking last night I was thinking about how me and Ashley used leave santa cookies and milk before we went to bed and we always sleep together Christmas night. I would get up and tip toe down the hall way with a flash light at all hours of the night to see if santa had been there yet..... Once I seen that he was there I would wake up Ashley and she would say what time is it I would tell her it's 4:30AM and she would tell me to go back to bed for a little while. Well i tried to go back to sleep but I could'nt so at 5:00AM I got up and told Ashley that I was going to get my santa claus with or without her. Needless to say she knew I was not going back to sleep so we woke up mommy and daddy at 5:00AM... All the great Christmas memories I have.

Just remember the REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!

Prayer in school

Happy Thanksgiving

We want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Don't eat to much (I know I will) Please keep us in your prayers cause we will be traveling to Tennessee in all the hoilday rush!!!!

Married Life

Well I am loving the married life over all, but right now we are going through our first sickness without our parents. See I made Jerry go and get a flu shot thinking that this would keep him from getting sick this winter. Well guess what he is at home sick as a dog, one week after getting his flu shot!!!! We will never take a flu shot again!!!! Other then Jerry being sick things are great. I am still learning how to cook new things, I always cook the same thing week to week so I am working on that..
We had a stray dog show up at our house last week and she is very sweet. She stays on the porch all day and night. She was very skinny and pitiful, so I have been feeding her and I put a blanket outside for her to lay on but, I already have two dogs and I can't have another one so if anyone wants a sweet girl dog please let me know I would love to find her a loving home... I don't know why but it's seems like all the stray's always find me!!!!
I am still working on being able to upload pictures to my computer so I can put them on my blog so please just keep checking in with me....
