We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas this year!! Jerry and I had a wonderful 1st Christmas together. Santa got me everything I wanted. Christmas day is always a very busy day for us, we have all our fun in one day. We spend the whole day with family and friends, all we do is eat, give out gifts, and talk about all the goings on in the world. I think I am very lucky to have a family like mine. I hear so many story's about how people get together on Christmas with family and all they do is fuss and fight with each other, I can gladly say my family is not one of those. I am just thankful to have a family like I do!!!! I have a very big family and I have always said the more the marrier. I couldn't ask for any better then what I got!!!! Jerry is not used to big family's but I think he getting the hang of it, he fits right in. The first year he came with me for Christmas he was so nervous and now he just goes with the flow. My mema always picks on him cause he pulls for Tennessee Volunteer's and we all pull for the gamecocks, it's so funny cause they go back and forth with each other all the time. (thats why I named my blog the volunteer gamecock) To wrap this up I had a great Christmas and I just want to say thanks to everyone for everything and I hope you have a great New Year!!!

Merry Christmas

We just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!!! This is a special Christmas for Me and Jerry... It is our first of many Christmas's together.I think it will be neat to wake up on Christmas Morning and Jerry and I open our gifts from each other and I can't forget about the dogs yes they have present's too!!! After we get done with our Christmas we will get ready and go to Mama & daddy's, We will open gifts there and then we go to mema & papa's. This is where we eat the best Christmas lunch ever, then open gifts. I just hope that big fat man in red knows I have been good this year and leaves me all kinds of goodies.....

while I was cooking last night I was thinking about how me and Ashley used leave santa cookies and milk before we went to bed and we always sleep together Christmas night. I would get up and tip toe down the hall way with a flash light at all hours of the night to see if santa had been there yet..... Once I seen that he was there I would wake up Ashley and she would say what time is it I would tell her it's 4:30AM and she would tell me to go back to bed for a little while. Well i tried to go back to sleep but I could'nt so at 5:00AM I got up and told Ashley that I was going to get my santa claus with or without her. Needless to say she knew I was not going back to sleep so we woke up mommy and daddy at 5:00AM... All the great Christmas memories I have.

Just remember the REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!

Married Life

Well I am loving the married life over all, but right now we are going through our first sickness without our parents. See I made Jerry go and get a flu shot thinking that this would keep him from getting sick this winter. Well guess what he is at home sick as a dog, one week after getting his flu shot!!!! We will never take a flu shot again!!!! Other then Jerry being sick things are great. I am still learning how to cook new things, I always cook the same thing week to week so I am working on that..
We had a stray dog show up at our house last week and she is very sweet. She stays on the porch all day and night. She was very skinny and pitiful, so I have been feeding her and I put a blanket outside for her to lay on but, I already have two dogs and I can't have another one so if anyone wants a sweet girl dog please let me know I would love to find her a loving home... I don't know why but it's seems like all the stray's always find me!!!!
I am still working on being able to upload pictures to my computer so I can put them on my blog so please just keep checking in with me....

Long Time

I know it had been a while since my last post but I don't have any way to upload my pictures from my camera. So my mom has come to the rescue.. I will have a new post up soon with some pictures so please check back in with me real soon. Jerry went hunting this week-end NO he didn't see anything ( thank you ) but he had a great time sitting in the woods looking like a tree and I have a picture to prove it. I just don't understand why he thinks it's fun to dress up like a tree and sit in the woods with bugs everywhere, so quite that you could hear a pen drop, that don't sound like fun so I stayed at home a cleaned (not to much fun either). Well he got home around 6:00 and took a shower cause I had cooked a pork roast all day and he was hungry so we ate and all he could talk about is the next time he was going in the woods........ (I think I will go shopping next time!!!!) Him and Mayfield hunt with a bow which is very hard! ( I tried and could not even pull the string back) I don't know what I will do the day he calls and says I GOT ONE!!!! I feel so bad for Bambi!!! Check back later for some pictures!!!

The Weekend Getaway

SO we took a trip to Carowinds this past weekend and we had a great time once we got there. The traffic was bad going down there. They was doing road work and they had all lanes of 85 going in one lane. We Took the dogs to Grandma's and they had great time too!! We rode everything there if the line was not to long, cause it was packed with people. It felt like old times when I used to go with my family every year after school was out for the summer. We went with two of our friends and I felt like a little kid again. I had the best time and I want to go back soon but I think its getting to cold now!!!!

One more thing tomorrow it Jerry's birthday and I just want to wish him a happy happy birthday!!!!

TGIF Bad Morning

Well it's friday and I can't wait till 5:00. When I woke up This morning I thought to my self today will be a good day, Well it's only 15 after 10:00 and I am ready to go back home and get in the bed!!!!! It all started with my dogs this morning, I was trying to get ready and they needed to go out so I opened the back door and let them out. They always stay right there where I can see them, not this morning. I was putting a load of clothes in the dryer and took my eyes off of them for 2 sec, and they were gone!!!!! So I go running outside screaming there names, no sign of them. I am getting real scard at this point I am walking around the back wondering where they would go, I as I was going inside to call Jerry which I did not want to do here they come running like crazy. I stood there yelling at then like they knew what I was saying and as I was walking back in the house I stepped in a big pile of POO I was bare foot tooo Gross!!!!! That just made me so mad I could have beat them!!!!!! So now I have both my dogs back in the house and they know they are in trouble, They both are laying in the floor with they heads down. I poped both of them and Put them in there create. Remember this is at like 6:45 in the morning and I am not a morning person ask my mom!!!!! Now I am back to getting ready. As I am leaving I notice Jerry forget to roll the trash can down to the road so I put my stuff in the car and start rolling the trash can down to the road and it turns over so I now have trash bags all in the yard. I am trying to pick the big green can up and it still has some trash in it and its heavy so I had to pull out the bags that stayed in the can so I could set it back up. Ok now I have trash to the road the dogs are safe and I can go to work. I get in the car and I can smell my self I don't know if it's the POO I stepped in your the weeks worth of trash I just picked up so I go back in the house and Change clothes real fast and spray some Heavenly Perfum on and out the door I go again!!!! I did make it to work on time but when I got here Todd asked me if everything was ok this morning and I said I have had a bad start but things are Ok, and thats when he tells me I have my shirt on backwards. So I just hope nothing else go's wrong today I think I have had enough trama for one friday morning. I think I just need to start all over.... Hope you enjoy

My First Blog

So now I have a name for my blog thanks to all the help from my family!!! I have been wanting to start a blog for a while b/c I would like to keep my family up to date on the things going on in our lives. We don’t have any kids so I am not real sure what I will be writing about but I will be writing something.

Jerry and I are planning a trip to Carowinds this weekend I know we will have a great time. We are going with another couple and we are going to pack a lunch and take off. My mom is keeping the dogs for the day. They love going to grandma’s and playing outside in the mud all day. I will take some pictures and hopfully get them posted real soon!!!
